Rodney families,
We are roughly a month from departure so hear are some important reminders:
1. All attending adults must have Youth Protection training competed and logged with National prior to arrival. please print a copy of the certificate and bring it to camp.
2. Everyone attending, including adults, must complete the NEW health forms (link below) along with copies of insurance cards. Have 3 copies of each, one for Rodney, one for the Troop leader and one for yourself.
3. If your Scout is taking a MB with prerequisites, have them start immediately. If they don’t have them completed for camp they will only receive partials.
4. Bicycles are allowed back on camp and as previous years we are limiting it to boys who have earned their Mountain Biking merit badge. If your Scout has his MB merit badge and will be bringing his bicycle, the following form must be completed and submitted at registration:
5. For attending Scouts and adults that have gluten free or vegetarian diet preferences, please complete and submit the following form to Rodney (submission instructions are at the bottom of the form).
6. In the “What to Bring to Camp” PDF (attached below) it mentions “insect netting” and the best fitting one for their bunks is:
The measurements are 32” x 78” x 59” and have been purchased at Dick’s, Amazon, Campmor and REI in the past.
7. Also, it is highly recommended that your scout have a foot locker and combination lock where they can lockup their personal belongings. We purchased this exact model and dimensions at Walmart:
Departure time and location will follow.
Best,
ASM Alex
Thank you for this. Can I ask what the logistics will be for the times we should arrive to camp Rodney? I’m guessing some of us will carpool, and will there be a trailer for the foot lockers? Sorry if I missed this.
