We had a great meeting last night that included choosing a new logo, a few lessons in etiquette, and an impromptu speaking game.
After several rounds of voting led by Gabe the Troop settled on the following logo for 2024. We will be sending it to the printer this morning to set up a "merch store" in time for the holidays, and to support an end-of-the-year fundraising effort.
That was followed by our boys learning about social etiquette. How to shake hands, seating in public places, opening doors for others, helping others with putting on their jackets, how to offer help, and how to eat formally.
The impromptu speaking game proved to be fun while demonstrating the creativity of our scouts and a guest from 138G!
The meeting ended with the acknowledgment of Rishi Talavia achieving Life Rank. Great work, Rishi.
