Do a Good Turn Daily

Good Morning,

UPDATE: No volunteering today, as we did not receive responses with availability.

Please do not go to the school. We do not have Leaders there to Supervise. Thank you!

Visitation Academy is in need of some volunteers to help prepare for the coming school year. If you are available on Mon. Aug. 21st or any block of time you can give would be greatly appreciated. Scouts, Parents, Leaders are all welcome to volunteer. Please email Charlene Viger at ccviger05@gmail.com with date/s and time/s you are available to be added to the volunteer sign in sheet. This will count towards Service Hours.

Some of the tasks we have been asked to assist with are...

• Cafeteria Tables to be folded and placed under the stage in gym. (need at least 2 scouts)

• 12 Blue tables from the Gym to be moved into the Cafeteria. (need at least 2 scouts)

• New desk/chair one piece combo needs to be carried to the 3rd floor of the school using stairs. (She thinks these may be a little awkward to carry up stairs will assess on site.)

• Outdoor cleanup.

• Rearrange Main office, (empty and move bookshelves)

• Possibly assist Teachers with setting up classrooms.

• Possibly assist the Principal's Husband with painting games on the playground blacktop in the back parking lot.

Please be sure to wear your Class "B" Troop T-Shirt, pants/shorts that are comfortable and closed toe shoes or sneakers with rubber soles. If you have work gloves, bring those too. Bring bottled water and bagged lunch/snacks if staying the full time.
